What is covered

We warrant that the movement of a watch sold by us will be free from defects in mechanical function for 12 months from the date of purchase. If a covered fault appears in that period we will repair the watch, or replace or refund it where repair is not practical.

What is not covered

• Normal wear to the case, bracelet, strap, crystal, or finish
• Water damage, impact damage, or damage from misuse or accident
• Batteries, straps, and other consumable parts
• Work carried out by a watchmaker we did not authorise
• Loss of time within the tolerance stated by the manufacturer for that calibre

Vintage and collectible pieces

Watches described as vintage are sold as period pieces. They are checked and, where needed, serviced before sale, but they are not held to modern accuracy or water resistance standards. Coverage on vintage pieces is confirmed in writing at the time of sale.

Manufacturer warranties

Where a watch is still inside its manufacturer warranty and is accompanied by valid papers, that coverage may run alongside ours. Manufacturer terms are set by the brand and are outside our control.

Making a claim

Contact us before sending anything. We will confirm whether the fault is covered and arrange insured shipping or a showroom appointment. Please keep your invoice, as proof of purchase is required for any claim.
